Pelican was a total kick in the nuts for everyone that went out………but thanks to all that made it out to grind.
I found out on Friday morning that along with the alleged drawdown of the lake, the DNR has been shocking and moving fish to other lakes. As you can see the results verified those efforts….Special thanks to the DNR for ruining the Falcon lake of MN. 2009 winning bag produced my Mertes and Mertes 22+ pounds, 2011 winning bag produced by Mertes and Ramos 9+ pounds……
Mert and Ramos brought in the only limit and took top honors with a hard fought limit weighing in at 9.34, second place went to Mr. Anderson, who fished solo and grinded out an 8.00 pound 4 fish sack. Big bass honors went to Torrie with a nice 4.14 kicker. I guess the DNR didn’t get em all…….
Thanks to everyone that came out. Sorry we didn’t know that the DNR had turned Pelican into the Dead Sea………
A quick update on the 9/10 Tonka event………It is moved to O’Dowd.
Next event will be on Waconia on the 27th.
