    I tried braid a couple of weeks ago, and I kind of liked it. Shhhhhhhhh! Don’t let my rods and reels here that. They’ve been perfectly happy with fluorocarbon. It may be time to start experimenting with braid and other lures though.

    That said, what do you think would be a good, general-purpose sort of braid… something I can tie to my various worms, tubes, and wackies?

    I knew you’d come around….though it took longer than I thought.
    Hard to go wrong with Power Pro, Spider Wire Stealth or Suffix 832.
    I prefer no less than 30lb and no higher than 65lb.
