    Lotus Lake continued to produce quality bass, although the bite got tough at times. Bass were striking lures, but all were short bites. Anything with a flipper, tail, or extra long got nipped; rarely bit. That made a tube a good lure choice, thrown on the edges.

    Late in the day, a crankbait bite started to heat up. With the boat positioned in about 8-10′ of water, cast parallel to structure for the best bites.

    Sounds like Lotus has a good fishery going right now.
    Note to self: do not enter any tournies on Lotus when fishing against fishwrench.
